The first union between jeweller Nettie Birch and textile designer Donna Read who take inspiration from nature.

Nettie makes fold-formed jewellery using aluminium, copper and sterling silver. The technique folds sheet metal and compresses and stretches them by hammering. Once opened, beautiful organic shapes are formed. 

Donna’s work is mainly floral and plant based. It might be a twig against a blue sky, vivid orange lichen on a tree stump or a shadow cast on a pavement. Donna paints directly on to the fabric creating unique and one- off scarves, cushions and purses.
